I want to get the ODDA bed for ds (the one you can get the head end unit for) and add padding and battery touch operated lights around the higher sides
Would be perfect for him, would be better for when he bashes himself in his sleep and keeps him feeling safe (severe autistic who likes things closed around him)
The other great thing with IKEA furniture is you can do all sorts to adapt and change it!If women are birds and freedom is flight are trapped women Dodos?0 -
Emmaus (http://www.emmaus.org.uk/) often has good bargains.
Freecycle and Freegle are also really worth a look, for large items they are especially good because people would rather someone come and collect the item, than having to take it to the dump themselves!
Watch out with Ikea beds - they are not normal UK sizes, so you can't use just any mattress with them. Just something to be aware of.0 -
