Having to remove the reinforced fiberglass I have used on the triangle sides of the roof.. this is due to when I was cutting them down to size the metal within them splintered off and has hit me in the eye..
I know i should have been wearing goggles.. stupid mistake.. no serious damage on my right eye but 3 pieces of metal removed..
I will be using the same material I have used to do the roof with to replace the triangles on the sides now..
I have ordered goggles and will be doing the modifications when they arrive!!
ALWAYS use safety goggles and safety equipment!!!God helps make my veggie patch grow. He provides everything I need.. It only fails if I do NOT do as He has told me!!

Hey smoffy, I've been following your project with great interest. Thanks for posting, and hope your eye is ok.
Keep up the good work, amazing what you have done so far, in true MSE old style fashion!0 -
Well the weather has not been the best recently and with family issues, became a granddad again, has put this on the back burner..
I have done a small amount recently.. sealed the roof more... cut a piece of greenhouse glazing to fit section next to door. placed wooden beam onto 1 side where door will be hung, placed a treated board on the floor at base of door to act as leveler and a small step.
Things to do:
Check roof for leaks (with hose and someone inside greenhouse)
secure side glazing next to door
measure, cut and hang door
seal all gaps
redo the triangular sections above door and opposite side(removing the mental/fibre glass sections) due to safety..
then to start building inside..
so not many really huge jobs to do but niggly ones.. roll on a day off and spare time!!!God helps make my veggie patch grow. He provides everything I need.. It only fails if I do NOT do as He has told me!!

Well I am getting closer to the end.. Now to move onto the door.
Door update.. http://www.hugsville.co.uk/greenhouse/door.html
I have done a test of the roofing sealant and found 4 leaks .. oh well... when I have charged my drill up and have some day light I shall tackle the holes ..
Started sealing some of the gaps with expandafoam.. NOT the easiest thing to use.. will stick to sealant in the future.. yes its slower and I shall need more but its EASIER!!
I have redone of the triangles so far.. the one above the door and just have the back one to do.. (this is down on the list of things to do as its non important!!)
Side glazing next to the door has been done.. Had some greenhouse glazing and cut it to size.. batoned the top and sealant along all edges has held it in place really well.. nailed with my nail gun!
If you haven't guessed that sealant is a common theme as I need to make sure its as air tight and water tight as possible... this keeps the heat in and I have a window i can open to vent if required.God helps make my veggie patch grow. He provides everything I need.. It only fails if I do NOT do as He has told me!!

Small update about the door now it is hung... still not 100% but its on!!!
A slight side gap to fill and gap on teh side where hinges are but a baton behind there will do both well .. later on!!!

Glad this is up before winter really hits.. I can do inside it and keep dry!!
Next thought.... plans for shelving!!!God helps make my veggie patch grow. He provides everything I need.. It only fails if I do NOT do as He has told me!!
