Well this is the start of a large project... To build a greenhouse (6ft x 4ft) as cheap as possible by recycling as much as possible!!

I have built a small temp website to house everything but will update here as well!!

Here is the start....

Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,

I noticed you will build a wall over an inspection cover. That is unwise and might be a contravention of some regs, not that I know.

I did think about this before hand, and thank you for pointing it out, and the actual inspection hole will be part of the flooring right behind the door so will still be accessible if required (but in the 11 years I've been here its never been "inspected").
The regs are that it remains accessible and from the headache it caused when I first realised this I quickly moved the greenhouse plans several inches forward to have the door there.

Both of those sites look good, thanks!!, will look further into them later on :)

I managed to obtain some more plastic sheeting for the rest of the roof today...
So I have all I need to carry on.. just need time and a dry day so I can start with the building of the brick wall..

Have some time off end of May start of June so will hopefully be able to crack on with it and get most of it started...

What concerns me more than anything else at the moment is the front of the greenhouse where the door is.. correct spacing for everything!!

    A few more updates...

First pic is filling the hole around the manhole cover and a little of the side paving.

Second pic is where I laid out the bricks, on a smaller scale than before, in order to work out a more precise measurements of the windows and start/finish of the brick walls.. (A few lessons were learnt the hard way once I had made a few layers of bricks... will define later on)
I marked out the layout of the bricks with chalk.. but I held the windows on the base of the greenhouse to give me a more precise marking rather than using a tape measure..

Third pic is of the start of the wall.. Lesson learnt was you have to add about 1/2 to 3/4 of a brick to the length of the brickwork due to the mortar you use! I didnt and now have a "unique design feature" on 1 corner (pics will follow when I have finished)

Since this has gone up I have had a few revelations...

I have to remove and level the top of the door frame (the piece covered with the bricks and tarp at the moment!!)

In the back right hand corner and front right corner (as you look on pic 2) I am going to remove corner beam and put a longer one in there so the roof has a stronger connection to the base..
I will take a pic of the finished idea of this when I have done it..

I am not really concerned about the level of it all so far.. I am about an inch out from front to back as I am not expecting this to be professionally built and I am thinking of describing it as "rustic" :)
