Yes I think it may be crossed wires. OP if you just want to change your name back because of divorce then it's easy so long as everyone is informed. Try this page it's the offical uk deed poll service page on woman's rights after divorce.
Thankyou so much..i feel really upset to be honest..if any one here knew me,they would know ,i would never do anything illegal..stupid maybe..and it was just a general question, which i think you have realised :)

That's quite alright, I think the problem with typing text is it is very easy to misinterpret someone, or come across with a different meaning. I apologise for misjudging your meaning and if I caused offence to you with my harshly worded post.

When I got my credit reports earlier this year, they had details of all the names I have used ie my married name (and I have been divorced for 11 years now), as well as the full and the abbreviated version of my first name that I use regularly.

Reverting to my maiden name was the best thing I ever did!

I would like to apologise to everyone ..
I completely worded my question wrong.
I have just got divorced, and have been thinking of going back to my maiden name, just a personnal thing that i have discussed with my children.I just wondered if it would change my credit report,i am very niave on these things.
I think i have made it sound like i was changing my name ,to escape my responsabilties, which is far from what i meant.
    Sorry :o

It sounds like a very stressful time for you.

Goodluck with your name change. If you are thinking that you'd like to revert back to your maiden name, it is probably a good idea for you.
:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.

I'm sorry to hear that Kaazza, are you in private rented? I'd contact CAB if you haven't already, best to know your options in case the worse should happen. You could try council emergency housing if things get that far here is a link to Shelter emergency housing in case you need it. Good luck :).
