Which deal is better re. HTC One X?

The one that suits your needs and budget.
Clearly the 12 month one is cheaper option but the phone will become less expensive no doubt in a few months. Battery life on HTC sucks in my experience - though the newer models are meant to be improved.0 -
The thing you should consider is that if you take a 12 month deal, you can switch to a cheaper 12 month sim only contract for the rest of the 24 months, so you're not comparing like with like. The 12 month contract will work out far cheaper over the 2 years if you do this.Sealed Pot Challenge #239
