Which providers include BT hotspot access?

I think 02 used to offer it as a cheap bolt-on but I can't find it on their site any more.

What I really need is a package which includes line rental, home broadband, BT hotspots and a SIM only mobile plan with data. There doesn't seem to be any info out there about this kind of package - no forums, no comparison sites, nothing. Or do I just need more coffee to find it?

o2 and vodafone do provide bt openszone access on some of their deals.

But internet and landline - you have to get separate contract - most networks offer broadband deals if you are a mobile customer.

If you are a sky customer, they provide some hotspot access too.

Orange include it in iPhone and other smartphone tariffs as well as a very good business SIM-only tariff, but it doesn't work properly.

Thanks, that's very interesting. I like the sound of "seamless connection". But it sounds as if the only way to get that is from an iPhone on 02 or Vodafone? I've got an Android - does that mean that connecting to BT hotspots would be equally awkward whether I was with Orange, 02 or Vodafone?

I'm not sure but I believe that O2 uses MAC address, irrespective of tariff or operating system. If BT Openzone is really important to you, then O2 is probably your best choice.

I have a T-Mobile contract which also uses BTFon hotspots. It is easy to use with the BTFon app.

BTFon and BT Openzone are different beasts
