Problems With Valued Opinions?

So say if you do not take foreign holidays or you have an old car or not buy the latest gadgets thn you cannot really have much to say on the surveys so you do not get to complete them.
I have been with valued opinions for over a year now and just assume that i will only qualify for about one survey out of four or five that I am offered as I am not much of a consumer these days.
Also I have gotten to know the categories of surveys that nine times out of ten I do not qualify for and ignore them.
It is a bit of a Catch 22 situtaion really. You need to do the surveys because you have no money, but the survey companies are looking for people who are high consumers and thus have plenty of money in the first place..
This is just what i have been thinking! We are both out of work at the moment, but only recently, so at the moment i am answering as if for our usual spending habits, which is fine because the questions are often about the last 12 months or about typical spend and i hope we will have some disposable income again soon. However, if we are not lucky enough to get back out to work quickly (and last year it took DH 9m to find work) then we will get further and further away from those habits and have less and less to say about products and services!
Interestingly with a few recent surveys there have been questions about staying with or switching e.g. TV package or broadband and there were no responses relating to money saving - i.e. it was possible to say i'm considering switching because of quality of service or whatever, but not because I am reducing spend. I would have thought this would be useful data for some companies?0 -
I received the most recent pending credit in less than 2 weeks and have some pending credits outstanding between 6 and 8 weeks!
AND
I received a credit immediately for one survey I did earlier on!
Now one of them says not rewarded!
It was the final straw so I've quit!!0 -
I'm also thinking of leaving V.O.....
I've had 6 or so surveys recently where I've completed them but an error has occurred (their end) right at the end of the survey. Infact i've had all kinds of errors now.
I've emailed V.O about most of them and got 1 reply initially along the lines of "we can't be accountable for our partner sites" etc.
I've even sent screendumps of it blatantly saying "survey complete" or "thankyou for completing". I've not been rewarded and it's not pending or even on my transaction list. Since their 1st reply i've had no replies - nice. Also the phone numbers constantly go to voicemail.
The last one was a diary over 14 days! Did the lot, spent hours on it. Completed the last day and you guessed it, got an error but only after it said "survey now complete".
Have emailed but doubt i'll get any reply. That survey was worth £10 so hardly penny pinching. My time's becoming more valuable than the odd £1 here and there especially with such poor reliability and reward ratio.
