Well, naughty Zepsgal, this is my first post this month
I don't really know where the month has went, I've got 42 pages to catch up on. Adding so far spends of £46.99, inc £10 at poundland on sugar and bleach, and the rest at MrA's and MrT's on veg etc.
I know I've spent more than that, will need to get a look at home for all my receipts.
Last week at work we were in Wed/thurs/friday, made soup for two of those days and my boss bought lunch on Friday, so NSD's for work. This week, I made soup for yesterday and today, forgot to bring soup with me today  Luckily we have customers in, so boss paid for lunch 'on the company'. Soup will not be forgotten tomorrow lol
Trying my best to bring lunch every day to work, I was spending £2-2.50 a day for my lunch, it's ridiculous.
Dinner last night was a pepper and goats cheese tarts I found in the freezer, with some potatoes thickly sliced, boiled and smothered in garlic butter with frozen peas/broadbeans/green beans and fresh lovely baby rocket from our garden. Was lovelyCan't think of anything smart to put here...0 -

How weird I can't see it either and it doesn't make much sense! It's supposedly £5.25 per 25kg, but think it's £5.25 for first 50kg, for mainland UK. There's the discounted shipping section and then random discounts just pop up e.g, atm I get a £2.25 discount for adding anything, then I made an order starting by adding just 10kg atta and got a £5.25 discount but this got smaller as I added more stuff.
Oh and new customers spending over £30 get a £5.25 shipping discount.
Just sign up and it tells you how much it costs to deliver as you add to the basket.Living cheap in central London :rotfl:0 -

Well have just gone over my budget by £2.04 with 11 days to go - but am absolutely choc-a-bloc with food. :j Just need to top up with bread and some branston pickle so hoping that it want be too much more over budget. Am pleased with that tho, as used to be a lot more over, but am still waiting for the month when I come either in or, preferably, under budget!:pWhen you were born, you were crying and everyone around was smiling. Live your life so at the end, you're the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying!:rotfl:

Very new to all this, only found this page today, would really like to join for June, is it too late? I have to shop for me, my other half and our 5 children.and it costs a fortune.
Really looking to save where i can, have recently started to batch cook meals and freeze and currently have a drower full of enough meals to feed my family dinners for 12 days, i've just been to Sainsburys and done enough shopping to hopefully keep us going for another few weeks, spent £58.46. It was origionally £69.62 but i had £6.80 in coupons and £4.36 in offers so i saved £11.26, which is good. I think on average now we spead between £500-£600 per month, so to the end of June from today i would like to spend £300?

Well I'm still sick and not having a good day! Ate the risotto I made yesterday for lunch but haven't had the energy to get off the sofa all afternoon so its a chinese takeaway for dinner! I think that next month I'll keep an eye on my eating out/takeaway spends and start to reduce them too.
Samantha - I remember reading on here that you can make ice cream with a jar of jam and a tub of double cream, without needing an ice cream maker. Maybe someone with more experience on this could advise?GC: Jan £118.67/£175
