Used to like avon shop. And then I realised I don't put crappy chemicals in my body so why on my skin. Tried 100% natural skin care and have to admit im was sceptacle but really impressed. Only place could fins stuff was online.

Like a company called Purely Natural Skin. Wish they had something with an SPF in it. Looking for a 100% natural moisturiser with SPF.
  • I used to be an Avon rep, and used to sell loads and loads of glimmerstick eyeliners & lipsticks.

Personally I love the advance techniques shampoos and conditioners, the footworks pedipads (they are fantastic for getting rid of hard skin!!), their nailwear pro nail varnishes, I always use their day and night creams & sun creams (have had no probs and I have sensitive skin) and all their mascaras are fantastic - far better than highstreet brands (and cheaper too when they are on offer!).

I think their underwear is (or certainly used to be) made by the same people who make M&S underwear.

I love their shampoos and conditioners, and they are cheap too. Also love their bubble bath it smells lush. Make up is a bit hit and miss. I like their jewellery too, it is good for the price and their bras used to be nice too but i not bought one of them from there for a while now.
    Raven. :grinheart:grinheart:grinheart

  • My aunt is an Avon rep and I find I buy the same things all the time - I stock up when they're on offer so it's very good value.

*Glycerin handcream - only thing that keeps my eczema-ridden hands soft.

*The body oil - Skin so soft? The original fragrance. I buy loads of this as I spend a lot of time outdoors - it keeps midges and mozzies away! They actually sell this in the Army shop in Brecon. I'm surprised they don't use this in marketing. :o

*Bubble baths and shower gels - brilliant value.

I also like some of the hair stuff. :j

When I was a rep first time round my neighbour became a rep. She worked for a warehouse company who dealt with M&S. She was told the same thing.

Thanks for all the replies. I'm going to be working my way through loads of Avon products at this rate. :j
On my order this month is going to be Glimmersticks and the new Fergie perfume. I wanted to hate it, because I'm far too old for celeb fragrances :rotfl: but I got a sample of it and it's absolutlely yummy. I think it's called Viva not got the brochure with me at the moment.

    Hi all!

    Another rep here!

My fave products are the SSS Dry Oil Spray. Took to Egypt - not one bite. They aren't actually allowed to market it as a repellant but it's why it's so popular i think! Plus it dries instantly.

I have just got a mineral powder foundation and LOVE it! My skin still looked lovely last night at 10pm! Also I love the lip glosses.

The linen and room sprays are brilliant, I have the Strawberry & White Chocolate one at the mo and it's lush.

The jewellery is hit and miss, some looks amazing and expensive, some looks not so much, but like others have said, theres a 90 day money back gaurantee. I love the fact I can order bags and clothes etc and send them back if I don't like.

I've only ever had 1 customer return an item and that was last night, she returned a necklace as she thought it was on a longer chain.

I'm not really getting on with the Shampoo's, but the Morroccan Argan Oil is AMAZING!

If anyone needs a rep/to see a brochure in Nottingham/Leicester then feel free to PM me :-)

    Another rep here! :)

I've just tried the Argan Oil hair treatment, it's fantastic! I've got bleached over straightened hair, and this stuff makes it look ace!

I'm not too keen on the make up and don't get on well with the mascaras, but I really like the Anew range for skincare and the perfumes are good for an every day spritz on.

The eye cream i'm using at the moment, and I like it so far! Going to give it a while longer before I decide!

Skin So Soft Original - This is a MUST have.

Which eye cream are you using at the moment? I'm trying to find one I really like. Am using a Vit E one from Boots at the moment which isn't bad but willing to try others.

It's Anew Eye Lift Pro, it's great so far, I find the gel like stuff for the lid of your eye really refreshing and the cream for underneath makes my dark circles look less...erm...dark? haha! :rotfl:

Give it a try, what I would say is though, wait til it's on special, you'll make a good saving. Sometimes you can find it in with a mascara and wee bag, for less than the price of the original pot (in a sale book) :)
