    Oooooh I love Avon!!

Favourite items are liquid soap, shower gel, body lotion, mineral powder foundation, glimmerstick, and nail varnishes.

There are always offers so watch out for them and you can avoid paying full price for anything!

I was an Avon girl from about age 12 to 18 and loved it (especially delivery day)!!

Their "Grow Potion" for (weak nails) is good. Whenver I wear nail polish on my finger nails, I know my nails will end up brittle etc. This stuff is the only product I've found that actually works. A lot of the (facial) skincare stuff upsets my skin tho', as does some of the make-up, so I'm always very careful what I buy. As for handcream - I prefer the new Garnier 7 day one.

i really like is the naturals shampoo, espically the almond one 99p for bottle, and the conditioner, I've just done an online order as don't have a rep anymore, my daughter has long hair and this works as brilliantly as a similar product with a green label from B...Shop!

The other range really like - foot cream, face stuff, naturals collections, (can't remember whats its called), theres 2 fragrences, lavender is one of them, there brilliant.

make up, some is ok, the Jillian dempsey range is lovely, xx

I'm an avon rep too and agree about the samples, it gets costly for the rep, I don't make much and can't really afford to buy them and am much happier if people use the money back guarantee.

    My favourite products are:

Anew clinical eye pro - the cream part of this is particularly good and left my under eye area very soft.

Glimmersticks eyeliner - so soft, no dragging.

The mascaras - they are so black.

Lotus shield - keeps the frizz right down and you don't need to use every wash.

Lipsticks are great - especially the more expensive ones, my favourite colour is pout - lasts for hours.

The lipglosses are lovely too, no stickiness.

They are launching an argan oil hair treatment too, so watch out for that.

I agree that the Lotus Shield serum is great.

  • I used the suncreams with both my kids last year and they were great-especially on offer :) My daughter has her dads olive skintone and goes brown at the first sight of the sun, but i still slap factor 30 on her, whereas my son is pale like me and I burn before going brown so I take no chances with him and coat him in factor 50.

My friends daughter has just started doing avon and I ordered myself a new bubble bath, 2 shower gels and a blemish mark treatment, they've come today. Ive just run myself a bath as i overlay this morn so dint have time, the mandarin and jasmine bubble bath smells gorgeous and has produced lots of lovely bubbles for me to relax in, the cherry blossom shower gel smells great in the bottle, as for the blemish treatment, i havent tried it yet obviously but I hope it works as I suffer from pmt spots, and theyre the type that leave a mark, huge and red and I hate it!!!!

Ive not tried much of the makeup as I know what I like foundation wise and wont deviate from that now!!! But the nailvarnishes look great, and at the offer the have in the new catalogue of £2.50 each rather than £6 and then some FCUK sunglasses for £10 when you spend £10 on nailvarnishes im tempted.me and my daughter get through nailvarnishes lol, and i need some new sunglasses :)

  • its in brochure 9, has Alesha Dixon on the cover modelling the nailwear pro.

the sunglasses are just £10 (RRP £39.99) when you spend £10 over pages 5-39, which is all the new & improved nailwear pro and the makeup.

I like Avon as well and am lucky enough that our local rep lives at the top of our road!
The Advanced Techniques Shampoo and conditioners are fab, especially when on offer. The smaller bottle (250ml ?) just about lasts me from one order to the next and I wash my hair 3 times a week at least. I currently use the Straight & Sleek as I have longish hair which usualy dries naturaly wavy but since using this it stays straight even when drying naturaly without a hairdryer!

Can someone explain though what Frizz control means? My hair is starting to have bits that once dried dont stay flat and are whispy and fly away, but their not dry ends. Its kind of hard to describe sorry. Its like when you havent had your haircut for some time so you know its time for a tidy up inbetween main appointments. I am wondering if the Frizz Control shampoo & conditioner would help with this matter but I dont want to go buying a bottle and finding I have wasted my money :undecided

Have just discovered the new handcream (I love the hand creams usualy get them on offer though). Although some need the smallest blob or can end up in a rather slippery mess ;) Its also ok for face cream Overnight.

The footworks stuff is nice and some of the nailcare products are useful (although I dont buy the nailvarnish as dont use it).

The suncream and aftersun care can be a bit hit and miss for me as I find it irritates my skin even the sensitive one dries it out.

The lip salves are good (again get on offer) but I find them small compared to the cheap shop bought ones. Dont use lipstick.

Used to use the Skin So Soft shower Gel and the handwash but they became too expensive so had to switch to the cheap shop version (which is larger bottle for under a pound and almost as nice).

:o I also use the Feminine wash and its great and not irritating whatsoever! I used to use the wipes as well but found them expensive and indescreet so switched to supermarket unscented baby wipes loads better, cheaper and I am more comfortable with them hanging around in the bathroom :o.

The deodorants roll ons are good and the bodysprays and bodymists are fab. Again though it irritates my skin by the next morning so I use it only when I need to. Rest of the time its BabyTalc.

Some of the mens products are a good buy too especialy when on offer, hubby uses some of them. But its a shame they stopped their razor blades as hubby switched to them and found they were well worth it then soon after they were discontinued :(

The PJ's and Bras are good and some jewelry too so are some of the 'novelty' items and one offs. I used to collect the 'radiator bears' but they didnt produce one last year that I know of.

Hope this helps. :) Its good to see what other people are recomending too!
