They seem to have gone down in price, usually around 11-15p?
Noticed in Morries today they are 8p, checked Asda website also just 8p. If you have them as cupboard staple it may be worth stocking up before they put the price back up.

I bought a couple the other day, never tried mushy peas. They're LOVLEY! Love them.Save, save, save, save.0

Sainsbury's are also 8p.
Tesco seem to have overlooked these in their Everyday Value rebrand (the marketing people probably thought it was guacamole) and only do the standard own brand ones at 27p.
As it's Friday, I'm having haddock fillets, mashed potato and peas for dinner. These will be frozen, but I really fancy some mushy peas now.
Don't tell "Baronet Gideon" though, or he'll have to find some way of taxing the price up out of the reach of us poor enemies of the state.
PS. They also make a great basis for pea soup. The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.0 -
Oh yes, and I know someone who makes mushy pea curry (sounds vile but she assures me it's lovely) think it's on the Slimming World website. Cheap meal!0

I never realised that. The Sainsbury's ones show it in the ingredients. The ASDA ones don't, unless it's the "flavouring".The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.0 -
Got some for 6p in Tescos today
The ingrediants don't mention mint either.0 -
We have these on a regular basis as they're a good protein source and taste nice too.To repeat what others have said, requires education, to challenge it,requires brains!FEB GC/DIESEL £200/4 WEEKS0

I have a huge stockpile of the Sainsbury's ones at 8p. I think they are delicious with a nice pork pie from my local butcher! I was surprised to read they contain mint as I can honestly say I can't taste it and always add lots more! But I do love mint sauce!"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0

Going from my own experience I found Asda best although they are more lighter colour the value ones. The tesco and aldi are good too, haven't tried Sainsburys though I find all of them as good if not better than Bachelors None that I have had has mint in I wouldn't buy them if they did0
