Evening all,
I have just spotted a seller on Ebay selling information on how to reclaim your bank charges from the last 6 years at a cost (small but a cost never the same).
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270096340201&ssPageName=ADME:B:FSEL:UK:1
Please warn people that this kind of auction contains information that can be found for free elsewhere on the internet (including here obviously).
I have emailed Ebay and await their response ...if I get one I will post it here.
cheers

true...but bearing in mind the high profile that bank charges has had in the last 12 months then this just smacks a little bit of trying to make a quick buck from free information.
I don't disagree with your argument but ethically, I don't think this kind of listing should be allowed.
cheers

and info in most of the e-books can be found elsewhere0 -
There is nothing wrong with this listing (as long as it gives folk some help and is not a scam). I think you will find there could be many folk who would be glad of a little help.
I think you are wrong to complain to EBay, no one is forced to buy it and if the seller offers a reasonable service for his whopping 99p price good on him.
(I have put this as politely as possible...I really feel more like a good rant!!)0 -
just because the info is freely available doesn't mean it shouldn't be sold if there are people out there who are too stupid or just too lazy to do a google search!0
-
just had a quick look, theres plenty of other people selling the info as well, if someone wants to buy the info instead of looking for it themselves, thats up to them0

theres used to be a guy on ebay selling the plans to build your own aircraft. (single seater full size aeroplane) for 9.99
the plans were freely available all over the aviation, homebuild, type sites if you looked for it.Get some gorm.0 -
I don't think there is anything wrong either with it.
However they do suggest there will be a surcharge for using paypal which i think is wrong.0 -
complain to ebay then. its against the rules to ask for a surcharge for paypal.Get some gorm.0
