Disciplinary ? For the actions of a third party company, that is grounds for suing the NHS trust on constructive dismissal if it came to that, they are not debt collectors for a company external to themselves. Its akin to to get a written warning because you owe money to your bank, its completely ridiculous and has no basis in law.
And if they run their own parking that is not external, I can see some NHS trusts do, their invoice is not enforceable, you have paid your dues, it would an illegal penalty for your employers to issue. Most of these are run by external private companies who has the ethics of a rat, basically none! So ignore the blood sucking scamming leaches.Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -
Thank you guys. I have now got a new permit after another 2 visits! However, having read up on the terms and conditions. "Failure to comply will lead to disciplinary action"! SO if I dont pay the 2 tickets, then I can expect a disciplinary hearing??? Not really fancying that!! Shall I appeal in the interim? That way it does buy me a bit of time? Oh blimey, Ive never had a parking/speeding ticket so I am a bit freaked by this!
Thanks again J :-)
take the advice above ( and a bit bleow) its nt a fine, all you legaly owe them is the cost for any genuine losses, as you have paid to park (£20/month) you owe them nothing.
infact if they ( the ppc ) start sending threatening letters you can then take legal action against the parking company for harrasment, another user on here, Give them FA will be able to advise further on this, putting the shoe on the other foot so to spaek, and if it was me I would make sure that all your colleagues, and even your line manager are aware of these scammers.
Its probable that your mamangers ( and collegues) will see these as legitamte fines, the more people that are correctly informed about these fake un enforcable invoices, dressed up as official fines the better.
and as for the BPA they are nothing but a trade organisation set up to represent the interest of the parking companys , and from what i understand the haed of the BPA is also in charge of one of the PPC (private parkiong company) that was criticised on Watchdog, and in the courts after a case was thrown out/dismissed (?)
Thishead of the BPA/boss of one of the parking companys then went on to openly criticise the judge using words like embarresment, Unfit and so onFrom the Plain Language Commission:
"The BPA has surely become one of the most socially dangerous organisations in the UK"0
