MIT my lovely glad you are managing to pay things off! I find it works for me.

    And welcome back jellybean!
    Trying to shift that debt!
  • Hi folks and welcome back Jelly Bean :j.

Left work yesterday and went to morrisons for shopping. I only needed a few things but went off my list and spent £72 . Needless to say budget was blown :(. Never mind it's only by £12 so not a biggie. I then went for food with friends and spent £10 and got home eventually about 8pm. Was in bed by 9 as was shattered.

I picked DS up at his Dad's on my way home and ended up in a rage. His Dad has yet again failed to pay his maintenance and it's only £20 a week BUT DS tells me that last week they got another kitten but it was only £250  !!!!!!. What about priorities? Basically the message there is that his child can starve but they can add to their 4 other designer cats cos it only cost £250. That was 12.5 weeks maintenance. Bar steward. I cant stand him. Anyway - and breathe!

DD has fallen out with her BF again and wants to cancel her trip this summer with him and his family so I called his mum to tell her and she said I was far too involved AHEM!! you can imagine my response. I told her that I was only calling as DD was so scared of her that she asked me to do it and that it was none of her bloody business how involved I was in my DD's life and perhaps she should take heed and her kids would not leave home as soon as they got old enough.OOPS me and my mouth :rotfl:but I will not let anyone diss my relationship with my kids as we do great the way we are thank you very much and we are very very close.

Anyway, I am working this weekend coming too I think. Tried to get Monday and Tuesday off but not possible Hey ho

So I am off to bed nice and early again and I hope you are all fabby xx

    Trying to shift that debt!
  • Yes Indeed!! How Bloody dare she? Cow :rotfl:. :o.

Work today and then went to see Les Mis again with 3 friends tonight and it was just as awesome as the first time. Cried my eyes out again. If anyone hasn't seen it and can spare the money then you have got to go and see it. Everyone was clapping at the end of it ( I started it off mind you) super duper.

Am a but tired tonight but today has been a nice day. Work was fine and stress free, we had a good laugh and still got the work done. Phoned CSA and looks like they will hopefully be getting a move on with getting me some money from ex. Even the girl said 'it's been one change after another with this guy. Do you think it is deliberate?' I just laughed and said hell yeah and told her about his £250 kitten purchase. Fingers crossed he tips up with something. Still no payments been made by him, needless to say.

Anyway need to sleep but hope you are all good xx

  • Men - Pah.

can they not doa deductions of earnings order on him?

  • Been there before SBO.They have even threatened to remove his drivers license but he continually manages to evade them. I was called today by their complaints section. They apologised for the fact that yet again they have dealt incorrectly with my claim but we shall see what happens. Gave her my works number and said I would be there at the weekend as well. She said 'Aww poor you' my reply was ' well I need to as I get no bloody maintenance' Oh how we laughed . Anyway I will not hold my breath on a good outcome.

Spent £4.95 today on slimming club and I put 1lb on. I was gutted but my IBS is playing up a wee bit, which ties in with last month's flare up so I am hoping it is a blip that'll go next week. I really don't deserve a gain as I have been very good so am a bit disheartened and having to have a talk to myself about not giving up.

Spent hours tonight with my friend's hubby helping him with a competency based application form. Nightmare!! Thats 2 nights we have been filling it in and all for a general storemans job. Trying to complete analysing and management skill competencies for a general worker is no mean feat but I reckon we ( meaning me lol) have managed some reasonable examples. I hope I haven't built him up too much . I really really hope he gets the job though. They are very special friends who I love lots and its such a shame as he is struggling just now to get a full time job.

Anyway, bed time for me so good night xx

  • I know how disheartening it is to be good all week and then have a gain on the scales, but please don't give up! The gain will be down to your IBS as you say and it might have been 3 or 4 had you not been trying to lose weight. It will show as a big loss next week!

Lovely that you have helped your friends too Xx
    Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j
Best win so far - holiday to Florida
  • PLMBL I have managed not to give in to any urges that I have had due to said disappointment but Jeez it's a struggle :(. I have had huge meals today though to compensate.

Pay day :j:j. Going to pay £200 to my CC in addition to it's minimum payment.. I only have £460.27 left on this card to pay and I can get rid of it. So I have just paid £220.27 which brings me down to £240. So exciting. My snowball is saying 20 months :D. I am almost in the 10's and should definitely be during February :D. It all seems to be coming together folks although I am a bit scared to say that :rotfl:.

Went to Aldi tonight and was £34 but got loads of fruit and veg and some bits and bobs. Budget for food has been well and truly busted for January but hey ho I am still doing good enough :D.

,y lovely friend's husband turned up at my door tonight with a fabby big bunch of flowers and a scrummy cinammon candle. So kind of them and there was no need whatsoever but I am very pleased. Nothing like getting some lovely flowers given to you.

I really need to do some housework tonight but dont have a lot of energy. Some of the people I am working with are just sucking the life out of me and today was particularly bad. We have a monthly charity day and we put forward charities close to our hearts. Last year we raised over £6k as an office so we are pretty pleased with that. I put forward the hospice my Mum was in and I have been allocated the first slot in February and I am ecstatic about it. Today there were 3 of our charities coming in to talk to us and the hospice was one of them. I had allocated slots to everyone in my team and I reminded them this morning. Well they moaned and moaned that I hadn't sent them an e-mail and they couldn't go at such short notice. Total bullsh*t to be honest as we all get an hour on a Thursday for upskilling or training purposes so they could have gone no bother. Not one of them turned up then had the cheek to ask me how it went. Well I must be pre mental as I just said 'if you'd bothered to turn up you would know' and walked away. I had already been told that as soon as we had left earlier they had all been talking about me. I mean !!!!!!!! I need to get out of there. They're driving me nuts :rotfl:.

Anyway. Rant over and I really do think I am pre mental but then who the he*l knows these days as they appear whenever they want. TMI I know sozza :rotfl::rotfl:xx
