I'll just add because I've a feeling someone might read this.

I've not requested any threads to be deleted!

I'll just ad as someone got confused in a deleted thread & I'm sure they'd love to know an answer. I've ran my own business for a few years (this has lead to self employment), I didn't say I was self employed for a few years. Also if you previously worked in retail for over 10 years, no matter what position you held with working in retail for 10 years you would have done a fair amount of till work at some point!

Don't worry if this doesn't make sense! Someone was bursting to find out! I didn't want to post but tried a pm & it didn't work, the user has blocked all pm's. Probably too much hate mail.

Because they really do have a terrible attitude towards customer service and the law.

A normal rational person knows when they have handled a situation badly and takes it on the chin.

The OP here appears to be a reasonable chap (look how many thanked posts he has!) and remember he had his girlfriend with him so there was a witness.

People post on here when they think they have been treated shamefully and in 99% of cases they have been. The odd exceptions are easy to spot. Someone points out a flaw in their argument and they slink off and don't reply to any of the questions or statements.

My money's on the OP here. I hope this thread keeps going because I'd like to know the eventual outcome.

    Keep it up Nite!

Me too. What was the eventual outcome nightrider?

I was shopping in Waitrose the other day when I confessed to the checkout lady that I'd left all my reusable bags in the car.

At that, she suggested that she give me a spanking.

Now, you simply don't get that kind of service in Tesco.

Theres no Waitrose near me. I like the low fat sausages though you get at the meat counter when I occasionally do go near one. Waitrose extra lean or something like that.
