Good Morning All (just)

Sun is trying to come out here but rain keeps coming back on and off, its very humid.

Taplady - hope you find your phone, I get stressed if I can't find mine for 10 minutes.

Adelight - guess everything happens for a reason, hope you get sorted asap.

Ooohh sciatica, had that a couple of times, very painful get well wishes.

Had a busy morning so far, was in the office nice and early getting things done, been on the phone to the accountant (a new one) as he needed some info but he has got our tax bill down to nothing :j

Took DD into the city (still can't get used to calling it a city) and we both had our hair cut, saved on hers with her student card and I had a £2 off voucher for mine.

Now home and cream crackered, not sure why but not sleeping too well at the moment, probably the humidity. Just waiting for a phone call from out garage to pick up a lorry so can't get focused on anything.

Meant to be slow roasted pork belly for dinner but may have to change around because of going out.

Well off now for lunch, nothing exciting just a sandwich :rotfl:

managed to get some towels on the line as its really warm and windy , keeps raining though but think they should dry if it holds of for half an hour

Hello lovely people!

What a pants day again more bloomin rain (I actually dont mind, understand why we need it and completely agree with a hosepipe ban but fear I may be on my own on this one!)

Last night was very productive in the JWAH h/hold - tea made, all washing up done, and casserole put on in SC before bed ready for tonights tea - just need to add dumplings

OS - tonight will be cleaning bathrooms, putting washing on and hoovering the cats litter-paw prints (again!).

More episodes of grey's anatomy to watch if I can persuade OH to watch McDreamy again??!!! :rotfl:

Am now thinking about my Jubilee Party that we've agreed to host on 4th June seeing as we now have our own house and everyone else has always hosted parties but never us!
Food & entertainment suggestions VERY welcome. Shall be doing it on a strict budget and very OS too. I intend to make as much as possible and freeze it so I wont b too stressed on the day.

Well, better carry on and do the thing they actually pay me to do!

Dylan was collected this morning, so I'm now dogless til mid June unless any bookings come in at short notice. Not long til our holiday, though, so we need to start focusing on that - I must get the packing list done, at the very least!:D

Hello everybody and hugs to all in need. Been MIA again...Damp and very humid here - the damp but is so much more than a weather statement, more a mood :rotfl: Well Happy Mondays gig was fab and have written my review and submitted it yesterday. Got some photos but obviously from way back so no use for the review. Reverend & The Makers one was on Tuesday and on Monday OH insisted on buying a new lens for the camera for it :eek: - wasn't that bad but TBQH I don't understand why. The photos he could take before were fine..... Anyway, I was feeling dreadful for that one and literally got out of bed to go to it drenched in sweat and with a massive headache. I think I might have this virus thingy back again..... cold, shivery, throat like a tree trunk, no appetite and coughing stuff up etc. If I'm no better over this weekend I will do battle with the GP's on Monday and see if I get an appointment within the week - used t be fab GPs now getting notorious for "can you ring up on the day" because otherwise you're offered an apt in two weeks.... bonkers.....

Apart from that much the same TBQH. Am trying to get to the end of the month on just under £90 for everything for us - and I need my coat cleaned and a prescription.... Anyway did very well on the yellow stickers last night. 2 bundles of asparagus for £1.50, punnet of grapes for 99p and a huge french stick for 45p :T - I see pizza toasts looming for dinner and then asparagus will keep in the fridge until weekend. Right, off to try and see if there's any more work in....really not much coming through on the typing front at the moment.... Oh bit of a sun shine there..... yeah, that won't last long :rotfl:

Adelight Meh to that EA.....clearly they are a law unto themselves grrrr. Re sciatica TBH I probably don't drink enough but since that's never been any different after all these years I suspect it's not to do with it. It's more to do with the lumbar region and how I sleep at night. Cannot sleep on my back and have to sleep on my sides. Recovery or foetal postion are favoured but sleeping in one position all night puts a strain on where I hurt it in my 20's and causes various degrees of back ache.
I am pleased to report that the lovely Tru PM'd me her exercises and I've done them and bizarrely enough I can feel an improvement :T

JWAH - There are threads on OS about doing a party on a budget. I am afraid I am not really that keen on the Queen so shan't bother with a Jubliee party.....I did one for when William and Kate got married......them I like :rotfl: mind you it would be a good excuse to break out the Pimms :rotfl:

Can you tell I've done sod all today Just impossible when supervising the hooligans as they tend to get carried away or start chewing things they shouldn't. Like DD's school shoes :mad: I only went upstairs to hang up some washing <rollseyes>

anyway once my mum collects her puppy I shall push the vac round and get cracking then. Well that's the plan anyway :rotfl:

Bitsy - the only reason I am having a Jubilee party is to have the excuse to drink Pimms/Bubbles and eat buffet food!! hope the sciatica is better x

Wet here all day too. But had a fab day with the new work kids! They are a great bunch, especially compared with the last ones :rotfl:.

My friend is coming over tonight for a catch up, will have some picky food whilst we gossip.

OS wise - dishes to wash, quick tidy round.
