BB devilled sausages are basically sausages in a spicy BBQ sauce. The last time I made the sauce by guesstimate it was a bit too hot and H went and washed it off his bangers :rotfl::o
Sistercas sorry you're having a rough time, have a big hug xxx
Tru what exercises do you do for your sciatica?
Valza welcome and good luck with the move tomorrow x
Tappers, hope phone turns up and have a hug for Taplord, sorry to hear his body isn't coping with his job
I am hoping I can avoid physio or osteopath, I must get H to give me a proper lumber massage later as that tends to help realign things and click them back into place. It is definately aggravated by forward bending so I am trying lots of back bending to ease it.I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

Bitsy - Lol at the hooligans and I know exactly what you mean:rotfl:
Have you tried seeing an Osteopath for the sciatica? I have been seeing one since last year and she has made a huge difference.
Moving out day for eldest son so things are fraught here. I have left him to his own devices but he has realised that he has no groceries so going to do an emergency shop with DD later. He will learn:o Then we are gutting his bedrooms and ripping out the floorboards and replacing them as he has been sick over them:eek: I cant wait:T:T:T
Hugs xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
Morning all,
yes its wet here too and ive just bunged another load of washing in the tumble dryer. I really must start drying my washing outside (weather permitting).
Busy day yesterday and my son passed the entrance exam he needed to to be accepted on his college course. He just needs his predicted final exam results now and we wil have a Quantity Surveyor in the making.
Ive had my bath, spoke to both of my daughters and really need to motivate myself now. Ive got stuff to take to the post office and the dogs need to go out. I might even get as far as sowing some seeds. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Not sure I should answer that, it might come under medical advice :silenced:It depends what's causing the sciatica, which is just a symptom. Mine is caused by piriformis syndrome. Most exercises are basically the same but there's slight differences depending on what the cause is, if you do the wrong ones you could make it worse.

Hi Guys!
I have such a bad headache today, but think its all stress related. Theres lots of personal stuff going on atm too which I can't delve in too. Nurses were in early and didn't sleep well. I took some different pain killers yesterday the GP had written up for me and wonder if they've made me feel a little sick?
We didn't get the car yesterday that OH & DD travelled over 2 hrs by train to get too:eek::eek::eek::eek: I don't think we're meant to get one! Just want something to go right with buying a car as we're desperate.
WM and DW have both been on. OH has taken out a beef joint to cook in SC tomorrow and tonight we're having Shepherds pie, cauliflower cheese and carrots:D
Hope you're all doing ok.

Morning, its actually stopped raining at the mo,but feels muggy.I've got the front door open, the birds are singing away-going mad really they're so noisy.Took the dog out in between showers,my neighbour up the road came too.We were on the playing field at the front when she stepped onto a patch of grass that wobbled. She squealed-I turned and could see about 4ft of ground wobbling(think walking on a water bed:eek:)gave her a proper turn. Its happened to me on there when we've had a lot of rain& feels horrible, you feel like you could disappear without trace.Might mention it to the groundsmen when they come to mow next time.
Didnt get chance to post yesterday as I was looking after DGN and he keeps me very busy :DThe menfolk were back just after lunch from their car driving day,had a whale of a time and were buzzing. They drove 3 different cars each, and got a 'report' on their driving skills after :rotfl:
Tea was a case of using different leftovers, had no time to cook really, too busy keeping tabs on DGN who can crawl at the speed of light and has just mastered walking,in our open plan house.Plonked him in DGDs walker for a bit, just so I could get lunch ready.Plenty of space so he zoomed around-think he's going to love dodgems when he's older.Sis IL was late picking him up,she wasnt well, and fell asleep so she was very apologetic but it didnt matter to me.
I've finished sewing the next dress for DGD,but I think I threw the pattern piece for the shoulder straps thinking it was waste tissue:o Anyway I've cut some out but will need to check the length of them tonight when she comes.
House fairly tidy as I had an early start yesterday and got lots done before DGN came,so some crafting for me this afternoon. Will get something from the freezer for tea,its so full can't get anything else in so need to start using some.
Bitsy-(& Taplady)-hope the sciatica eases soon,I get it sometimes & its very wearing.DS swore by massage when he had his long term back problem, still has one about once a month to keep him supple.
Valza-welcome & hope the move goes well.
Marie-so sorry to hear of your pet troubles(((hugs))) really hope you find Kerry-it must be very distressing.
Molly- hope DS move goes ok,it would be just like that here if one of ours was moving out,so sympathise

Morning all!
Go away rain, too much washing to dry here too!
DD is in bed ill, sky high temp, headache, and feeling rotten, must be bad cos she never takes time off work, so she has been filled with water and paracetamol. Ive got a touch of ghandi's revenge, since me and OH had an indian takeaway last night, love it but had veg pakora and for some reason it always makes a quick exit...TMI, sorry!
Am off to pick up tickets and grab some shopping now, then mount ironmore and I will get too friendly for my liking, never mind, needs must.
Have a good day all.
Bitsy, have you tried a TENS machine? Can't be without mine, cos most painkillers upset my stomach.RIP Iain

Morning everyone. I am exploding with stress right now! After paying the deposit and getting keys the estate agent has turned round and said our application still hasn't been accepted and we need to do xyz and pay xyz for so and so. So we have withdrawn! I've been in touch with a different estate agent who is actually explaining our situation and proposal to the LL now before we make an application.
I have boat loads of work to be getting on with, putting my timer on for 45 minutes before a tea break. I lose interest really easily so need lots of little breaksPutting the WM on later and er... no other OS.
