quidco/3 network/iphone tariff question

a query if anyone can help please ....

i can upgrade my iphone from 3gs to 4s after may 31st according to my account on 3 - at the monent ( and hopefully still by then ) you get £110 via quidco for the tariff i wish to upgrade to

if i do this online via the quidco tab will this still track do you think even with it being an upgrade ? im thinking it will as it is a different tariff and surely u still need to put it into your basket and check out via 3 site and thats what tracks not being there as a new customer ?

what do you guys who know much more about it than me think ?? dont really want to go through hassle of cancelling and taking new if dont need too and 3 are being very tight with retentions esp on iphones

Cashback is paid for brand new contracts only not for upgrades, unless stated otherwise in the cashback rates advertised.

no its not for upgrades, and will be declined

what you could do is port you number to a PAYG sim (and hence cancelling your 3 account) with someone else and then take out a new 3 contract and port your number back over to them. That way you should be eligible for the quidco cashback although its obviously more effort and takes longer.

remember that cashback is never guaranteed
