Paying 3G mobile compay.Shall I pay?
Hi
Can you help me please? I have cleared £6000 of my debts over the past 3 months but I have 1 left and dont know what to do. Please help.
It is with the mobile phone company THREE. I signed a contract in my name for my sister and when the bill came in for the amount of £703 she refused to pay it. I was stubbon at the time and didnt pay it either. It split our family up at the time but the money was not paid in the end.
It has been over 2 years since the last letter i received from them but I want to clear my name and pay it, as it is showing on my credit report as Red8 and still outstanding.
I was going to call them and ask if they will take a smaller settlement or
is it best for me to keep quiet?
Hope you can help
Many Thanks
L

Paying it will show on your credit history as being settled which is obviously a good thing, but the 'damage' caused cannot be repaired instantly
Alternatively you could choose not to pay it, but it will be appx anothr 5 years before it 'drops off' your credit history.
Balls in your court0
