I agree - admittedly, not the whole going to the same place in yrs 1 then 2 then 3 etc etc....and i agree with OP that you should speak to school and maybe ask why....
BUT - have you actually ASKED if the trips are related to the national curriculum? You would be very surprised at what fits into the curriculum..... Zoo - geography, animals of the world, literacy based on their trip "what i saw at the zoo", etc etc... Eureka - having just looked on their website i would say their WHOLE selling point is that they have a wide range of exhibits which ALL link DIRECTLY into the curriculum.... and they appear to have various temporary exhibits such as the ancient greeks etc so something new there every time you visit!Baldrick, does it have to be this way? Our valued friendship ending with me cutting you up into strips and telling the prince that you walked over a very sharp cattle grid in an extremely heavy hat?0 -
Don't get me wrong we love these places we have been as a family to both what gripes me is the fact that my D.S will have been 2 years on the run now and D.D a gap of 2 years to the same place, they both want to go because it's NOT school for the day,I just wish the school had used some imagination and varied the choices.Life is like a bath, the longer you are in it the more wrinkly you become.0
