I think there's so many comping now and not as many prizes that it's become harder to win, unless you are on of the really lucky people who win three holidays a year. I havent won anything for year now , i won a 3ds last year and nothing again for almost 2 years before that .i have had around 4 wins in 5 years !
Nothing major either.

I win fairly regurlarly but it's mostly small things - as you can see by my sig - & todays wins are a bottle of disinfectant & 2 boxes of hair dye, both very small value , but useful . I find books are the easiest itmes to win & as I'm a bookworm that's fantastic.

I know I'm relatively new to comping, since Saturday when I started I've entered around 400-500 competitions using a variety of methods. Online entry forms, FB, twitter, email, etc...

Just keep believing it will happen. I've had one win since Saturday, only a bar of chocolate, but still, it's my first win, so it's keeping the spirits high

I have been comping for a few years and usually win a few things a month. Nothing mega but always much appreciated. Realised last year I had NO funds for Christmas pressies but managed to win a little something for everyone! I probably enter about 100 comps a day but very rarely facebook ones & never twitter. Have noticed there a lot more compers & fewer comps but still plenty to enter.
It is a hobby I do when the telly is on and as I never expect to win it is lovely when I do, whether it is a box of shreddies or something more substantial. If you expect to win & get fed up then maybe it is not the hobby for you!

A tremendous thank you to all those who take the time to research & post comps, I sometimes wonder when they have time to actually enter any! :)
