I've got a 7100x on O2, and it took me a while to get used to the keyboard but it's great! Picks up my Gmail & work e-mail every 15 minutes, & sends it straight to the phone. Mails to my @o2email.co.uk address come through instantly, so I've set up some rules to forward really important messages. From clicking send, it's about 6 seconds until it's on the phone!
There's no way I could have a similar service on a charged GPRS service. Although I can see why people have a smartphone - 6630/P910 etc.. Really depends on what you need to do, for e-mail Blackberry is worthy of all the hype.0 -
Hi,
I have implemented 25 of the 7230 units for my business. They are fantastic. They really come into their own when they are integrated to a corporate EMail system (i.e. Lotus Notes or Exchange) as these mail systems will PUSH your EMails to the BlackBerry meaning you receive your email on the BlackBerry in almost real-time. I have not had much experience with using them for POP-3 collection.
I thought that they were a bit gimmicky to start with but I would now have to cut the hands off the people I have given them to to get them back.
They are a great business tool.

One thing to note, if you're going to use one personally & don't have the Blackberry Enterprise Server - Blackberry Internet Connect doesn't seem to work with Outlook 2003 webmail. Fine with POP/IMAP & earlier versions of Outlook Web Access. I've had to create a few filters on the server to forward them on until it's sorted.0

Would have to say it is without a doubt the best phone I have ever had - and I had had most of them up until about 1 1/2 years ago when I got my 7230. I have not upgraded it as I like the fact that the 7230 has the 'full' keyboard.
For emailling and texting it is a dream. Also what people have failed to mention is how well everything integrates from contatcs to making calls, sms and emailling.
Very simple to use, great battery life and for email second to none.

I have a Blackberry and a V600 since I find that when I'm on the phone I often need to refer to my emails. As a business tool, the Blackberry is absolutely superb...it completely eliminates wasted time and enables much faster customer response. If it broke I would cry!!
Cheers,
