Best low usage package - more texts than calls

Helping someone try & cut costs if possible.
She has just gone from T-mobile payg to Familymobile. She sends on average two or three texts a day, sometimes rising to a maximum of about 10 texts a day.
She makes calls occasionally but not very many.
Considering whether payg or a low price contract is better.
Looking @ Vectone £5 a month. Also wondering how much 100 mb of Internet covers, although it's not essential for her. The £1 package is too little in terms of texts. She usually gets @ most 3 or 4 personal emails a day & a few advertising emails. Also trying to weigh up iCard beside it all.
Any other suggestions? Thanks!

giffgaff:
£5=60m+300t
or
£5=unlimited texts. Calls are 10p/min0 -
Or £5 buys unlimited text with Orange Extras, 100 mins is £5 too or £1 for 25 mins per day on the day she needs themSO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe0

I think you'll find both of these bundles are increasing to £7.50 from 31st May.

OP suggests an average of 60-90 and at very most 300 texts per month.
Grumbler's suggestion of giffgaff Hokey Cokey goody bag probably wins this one (60 mins and 300 texts for £5) amongst PAYG options. If you are prepared to go with a monthly billed account, Vectone PayMonthly £5 will be best.
I'd say stick on familymobile for a few months at 8p/call and 4p/text and see what the monthly cost actually works out as. Only bother switching if it is averaging more that a fiver each month. If it doesn't, there may be marginal savings with a switch to icardmobile, but bearly worth it as the cheaper call rate will be wiped out by the 1p higher text rate, and we're starting to just be looking at a few pennies a month.0 -

Thanks Stuart. This was what I was trying to work out: Is it better to stay on payg or go on a low price contact? And if there were any contracts cheaper than £5 a month apart from Vectone's £1 a month which doesn't have enough texts on it.0
