Essential Travel offer this guarantee too.
Better to look at "non parking " deals as on hotel/off hotel parking often messes up an exact match
Im looking at Sofitel, might as well go for the No1 on tripadvisor as I do not intend to pay for it:beer: , my dates, Holidayextras £130 as is Essential travel but LastMinute.com is £107
Although a lot of other hotels are cheaper too.
Hiya
I done similar, i have booked yesterday with holiday extras a 'quad room' for 2 adults and two kids at 232£ at london gatwick Sofitel,no parking.
From lastminute.com i found the same hotel, sofitel, london gatwick, no parking, 2 adults 2 kids at £220...however the name of the room was called 'juniour suite'
The name of the room desnt make a diff does it cos lastminute.com has no 'quad room' listed anywhere for sofitel, neither does sofitel home website have any room called 'quad room'
Both deals are changeable or allowed to be cancelled, ....
I rang them today and they said u should hear from someone withitn 48 hours...
Fingers crossed...any u guys have any idea if would be a successful claim against holiday extras money back guarantee if find hotel cheaper? back?

There's loads round there and they're all much of a muchness. Clean, basic and a load of beds in a room. Minibus to the airport, and that's yer lot. I've probably stayed in half of them because I used to use them in my old job when I was working South London.
Laterooms works well for finding them, otherwise, go on goole maps and work the phone a bit.Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?

Hello
We're flying from LGW in a couple of months & want to book a hotel close to the airport for the night before (with parking for the duration of our trip).
Can anyone suggest which websites i'm likely to get the best price through?
Thanks in advance
You might want to use this metasearch - trabber.co.uk/hotels/
The site helps you to find the best deal of any hotel close to you interest place as airports, city center, etc...
I hope it will help.0 -
Just to point out that the OP asked the question in May 2012 and was flying 'in a couple of months' so would have parked, stayed and holidayed and been home for the best part of 3 months.

Suggestions may be useful to others though.0 -
There seems to be a "glitch" on the HolidayExtras website at the moment where if you click to book an Undercover Secret hotel, the next page tells you which hotel it is without before you pay.0

We used Ambers hotel in Horley. Lots of b&b, small hotels & guesthouses that offer nice accommodation with parking and a lift to and from Gatwick. Horley is only a few minutes by car to Gatwick.
We booked our hotel after looking at trip advisor. The Cabbage
