Best site to book airport (LGW) hotel through??

Hello
We're flying from LGW in a couple of months & want to book a hotel close to the airport for the night before (with parking for the duration of our trip).
Can anyone suggest which websites i'm likely to get the best price through?
Thanks in advance :)

are very good and still offer a best price guarantee I think. So if you find cheaper in 24 hours, they give it to you free
    08 wins £3000+ :j09 wins £4408:j2010 (6 months off) £2004:j2011 £10,003 :j 2012 - £6013 :j2013 wins £8500 :j 2014 £5530 so far....

Try a price comparison site like www.kayak.co.uk . The only time I've personally found the likes of holiday extras to be cheaper is when I wanted a deal with holiday parking-otherwise better deals elsewhere.

If you just want a decent hotel by the airport you may find Priceline's name your own price works for you (there's a whole thread about how to get the best deal this way)

I find Holidayextras best for hotel+parking deals - but there are many fewer hotels at Gatwick compared to Heathrow so really good deals can be harder to come by.

Many thanks for the suggestions :)
  • I like kayak but more for flights. With hotels, I prefer hotelsverycheap.com They are fast and allow you to select to show results near a specific location, such as an airport like you asked for...

    Cheers, Martin.

Its almost impossible not to get a cheaper deal than holidayextras.

Essential Travel offer this guarantee too.

Better to look at "non parking " deals as on hotel/off hotel parking often messes up an exact match

Im looking at Sofitel, might as well go for the No1 on tripadvisor as I do not intend to pay for it:beer: , my dates, Holidayextras £130 as is Essential travel but LastMinute.com is £107

Although a lot of other hotels are cheaper too.

    Use hotelscombined and search Crawley

this guest house worked for us, the ownwer runs you to the airport and picks you up on return, comfortable, and great breakfast

    http://www.gatwickturret.com/

it is available on various sites including laterooms

EDIT just realised this is an old thread resurected by a spammer first post advertising a site with no contact info on it

Worth looking at lastminute 'secret saver' deals, too, if you have left it late - there's some great deals on there, if you're prepared to do a bit of detective work!
