That literally comes down to who you apply with and what your previous credit history looks like.
You'll also need to provide proof of address, so make sure you've got some sort of bill for your current house.
When they set up a direct debit they won't ask where your bank account address is set up to so that won't be a problem.0 -
The main problem that the OP was worried about was credi scoring, not the DD. The scoring is done automatically by stupid computers and any inconsistencies and discrepancies can make a big difference, e.g. different addresses recorded in the credit files and on the electoral roll.0

If you're going for a sim only deal the main thing the system is looking for is a match between the address given and the address given for the debit/credit card for id verification. For a full contract with hardware then it's more likely that the address details not matching could throw out the application.0

Yeah, I'm hoping to go with t mobile via tesco phone shop online, so would assume it's all done automatically.
So I'm not really sure how to proceed? Take it out at my parents address despite not being on the electoral roll, or transfer my bank account to the rented address?
I've had a phone contract for 3 and a half years with no late payments, and a credit card with no late payments. No mortgage etc, so the credit score is likely dull reading.0
