    I disagree. I think the fact that they have called your partner your girlfriend rather than your wife, is because that they want it to look as if it is a newer relationship on the paperwork. A newer relationship so therefore you are in the honeymoon period of the relationship and therefore having more sex so ergo cant be as ill as what you make out.
    It needs to be corrected from girlfriend to wife.

    Couldn't his wife claim IS though as the main claimant on the grounds of being a carer and have Rich on her claim?

    That's what CAB advised my DH and I to do if I fail an ESA medical and don't have the health to appeal.
