Im going to get a friend who's experienced at dealing with banks and big companies to give them a call tomorrow and see where i stand. I will let you know how I get on.......0

I don't have a Next account and always pay by debit card when i order online - however, one time my debit card payment failed because i couldn't remember the correct Verify Visa password. I redid it and was then sent the goods twice. When i investigated i found that one transaction had been paid by my debit card, the other had been put on a credit account that i did not apply for or want. This had involved a credit search despite me not requesting credit. When i complained i was told it was just a mistake!0

If you seriously want to see the CCA you need to send a written rrquest and enclose the pound postal order as required.
a) they won't speak to your friend
b) does she know what to ask
c) next will protect their interests not yoursMore than Two Years in

It's only like claiming back bank charges back, worth a try.
(there's always one on this site isn't there...geeez)[/QUOTE]
You confused the issue by mentioning no signed agreement. This has absolutely nothing to do with reclaiming charges.
My apologies, I now see the word 'interest' but like I say, the fact that there is no signed agreement has absolutely nothing to do with interest charges and late payment charges. You muddied the water because they are seperate entities. I have edited my post as you will see if you re read it by deleting a line.
And I would also point out I wasnt the only one who thought the same thing.
And seeing as I have had the grace to apologise, would you be kind enough to delete the text in bold.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

Its doubtful that Next will speak to someone else about your account, you may be able to get on the phone first and give your permission to let her deal with it.
I can only think that Next will say Pay Up, you would be best following the reclaiming advice from other posters on heremake the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

I entered a competition in a Next store to win an Audi A3.
They sent me two catalogues which they charged me for, and opened a credit account for their online shop. I've never had a credit agreement, but I can bet my bottom dollar it was something I ticked/didn't tick on the competition form. The account came in handy for a bit, and is good to rebuild my credit. I've gone from £250 limit to £3600, I owe nothing on the account, paid it all in full each time I ordered stuff and will close it before applying for a mortgage next year.
If you opened the account post Apr 2007 they can provide a reconstituted agreement, and you using the account would pretty much convince a judge that it was enforceable. So it's quite important that you remember when the account was opened.0 -
If your loan agreement with Next is not legal, you may not have to pay the interest on it - true.
But by the same token, you may be required to pay the whole thing back in one go, which could land you in a whole lot of do-do!"There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe a 'Princess Coronation' locomotive in full cry. We shall never see their like again". O S Nock0
