Ok so I need to buy a drill and don't know where to start. My ex was the person that bought the tools and that kinda stuff so I now don't have any power tools. It doesn't need to be amazing as its only for general house stuff such as curtain poles and shelves etc. I also want a good electric screwdriver. Is it possible to get these combined or best to buy separate?
I don't need or want to spend a fortune but will spend what I need to to get something decent.
Any suggestions welcome!
Emma
What did you get in the end Emms?? :j

I got the Bosch and its a beast
Ive been drilling all over the show. Finished building my kitchen units, got all the handles on the doors, putting up blinds and curtains. Easy Peasy. Its nice and light too. My friend bought the Makita and its much heavier and the Bosch is now back to full price in screwfix so good timing indeed

Awesome - glad you managed to get it in time
Dont forget to register it on the Bosch website and you get a three year warranty... not that you'll need it ofcourse!!
Happy (safe) drilling
