Drill and Electric screwdriver
Emms
Ok so I need to buy a drill and don't know where to start. My ex was the person that bought the tools and that kinda stuff so I now don't have any power tools. It doesn't need to be amazing as its only for general house stuff such as curtain poles and shelves etc. I also want a good electric screwdriver. Is it possible to get these combined or best to buy separate?
I don't need or want to spend a fortune but will spend what I need to to get something decent.
Any suggestions welcome!

Any of these three will do you just fine.

Just to add as far as the electric screwdriver is concerned I want something with a bit of power to it. I built my shed with a friend today and the one we used would only get the screws in half way and we had to do the rest by hand. I want something thats strong enough to get things like that done.0

As above Emms!!!
My personal preference would be the Bosch - but that's just a trademans perogative ;-))

Yeah - go for the Bosch - better battery. Won't bore you with the technicalities. Only down side is no 'case' - but I'm sure you'll keep it neat and tidy in the cardboard box that it'll be supplied in.
Happy drilling!

B&Q has the Dewalt one at the same price as screwfix and 20% off if you spend £100 today. They have a Bosch one too but its a different model.

Out of the 3 highlighted I would agree with Ruski go for the Bosch.Especially if you don't use it often as the other 2 have the type of batteries that need to be used often or they die.
The Bosch has a Lithium Ion battery which you can leave for weeks unused and it will be fine.0 -
Go for the Bosch Blue Emms - far more robust for the extra £20 - this is a professional tool, green is a DIY tool.
Trust me - I use Bosch Blue all day every day!

You can get lots of pink tools from Travis Perkins at the moment - Part of their Breast Cancer support initiative..... if you REALLY want pink ;-))
(But I'd stick with blue in this instance!!)
