I wonder if DH will notice any of what I have done today???? A lot of the areas don't really look different but my work is going to make the cleaners life easier when she starts. I tidied before a meeting the other night and DH noticed, I have tried to keep those areas tidy this week and I feel so happier not seeing clutter.

I have done what I planned in the living room and now have a pile of stuff to action and sort so I am going to do that next. I am terrible at making piles of things to do and never actually doing it :rotfl: I also not have an added kind of Toots/frog list at the bottom of the areas that still need to be done for Wednesday.

    UTILITY
Try and sort worktop Going to sort through all the cleaning products at the weekend with DH once we know what the cleaner wants to use. We have loads of things we have bought that we don't use all that much so we may be able to get through them now.

    LIVING ROOM
[STRIKE]Sort pile of stuff on chess board[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Sort shelves of coffee table[/STRIKE]

    MUSIC ROOM
Try and get rid of mark on floor I have tried, will see what it looks like when it is dry but I may need to get someone out to try and sort it.
    Organise music on shelves

    Make shopping list
    Reschedule eye appointment
    Arrange to pick up chairs

    AREAS LEFT TO SORT
    Tops of bedside drawer units
Chest unit and area around it in living room
    Surface in utility room
    Cleaning cupboard in utility room
    MUSIC ROOM

Some of this is covered above anyway, once we have done this all the visible areas will be lovely...then to start on the insides. I go away in 2 weeks so would like to get all this sorted by then so when I return I can start to sort our spare/storage room and unpack the boxes from our move in August :o

  • Hi everyone, sorry i have not read all the thread, so healing and good luck vibes to everyone needing them and hello to any newbies. The house is not looking too bad, but i will get the lists out and go through them . Im so happy, i did all my paperwork :T don't know why id left it so long, i just kind of freeze when things get to much - i swear any letters etc that come in this house need a passport !!! I think watching hoarders helped - seeing the uphill struggle that some of those people have, suddenly a bag of paperwork did not seem a big deal. Hope its nice where you are. Have a good weekend everyone.

Sitting around waiting for the garage to call so I can go and pick my car up  think I might wait for DH to take me after work so I can get some more done. Don't have anything for lunch so going to need to nip out and get something and post some letters while I am out. The thing I said about piling things up to do and never doing them...I have just written 2 letters to change my name...we got married 10 months ago
I am going to have my me time when I get back but am going to do some sorting at the same time. Going to watch hoarders while sorting the music out. I wanted to watch it last night but I know it isn't DHs thing :rotfl: guess who hoards here? Going to try and finish my list before DH comes home.

The washing is all dry and put away and I've cut the back grass. Can't do the front or I won't hear the delivery man. If he comes. Watched the hoarding programme from last night.

I caught that show last week, must look on catchup, remind me which channel it is please. I thought the presenter was lovely.

I've done 2 hours strimming in next door's garden, elbow ache now:o

Having a well earned cuppa, replying to a couple of emails and then I'll get the soup on and walk to the corner shop for bread. It is so lovely to see the sun. First lot of towels are dry. Second lot are in the WM

Kazmeister- he has swum every day this week because the heater was broken last week. On top of that he has his out of school swimming lesson that I pay for. I've spoken to his teacher today to inform her that he must shower to get the chlorine off. She was a bit dubious but I rolled up his trouser leg and she actually winced. After today he's back to just Tuesday and Thursdays. I will cream him 3 times daily and use the hydrocortizone x 2 a day so that should make some improvement by Tuesday.
That makes me quite cross - when I took kids swimming (for school) I always suggested firmly ;) they rinse off in the shower afterwards especially the ones with eczema.

Am garnering strength to 'do' the kitchen

My house is just a big ball of MESS!!

Been in bed for two days so nothing done. DH has done some stuff upstairs today though.

Me, DH and DSS are going to do a whole house blast tomorrow morning to get back on track. With the three of us should only take an hour.

Will be in bed for rest of day I think though.

    Love to everyone x
