    Hey all :hello:

Remember me??? Well I joined the "real" world again today...my broadband and phone line have been connected :j

Well.... Im 500 miles away from where I was last time...Completely different house, job, school and life, not only from what I had before I moved, but also from what I thought it would be when I got here! As they say, things often dont turn out how you planned them, but thats not necessarily always a bad thing! Lots of experience under my belt now that I didnt have before, so hopefully Ive learned a few lessons.... :D

However now I am finally in my own place - my mission is as follows:

    1. To get everything, yes EVERYTHING, unpacked.... no more boxes lurking 6 months later!
    2. To find a home for everything... no more clutter lying around that doesnt have a home!
    3. Chuck everything which is no longer required, currently being held onto in the hope that I might need it one day.....despite the fact it has not been required in the last ten years! *insert rolling eye smilie here*

So that is my target, as well as keeping on top of the dailies/weeklys and deep cleaning various areas in the flat reguarly to continue removing the layers of 13 years worth of MANK which had accrued in this flat...

Vanilla - I dont know the answer from the banks point of view, but work in a secure mental health ward... People with mental health problems still need to have their own bank accounts so no, they cannot force him to shut it down... The point of mental health services is to rehabilitate them to live in the community and part of that, is managing your own account. Management of the account is dependent on the severity of the condition, but if hubby is at home with you and not detained, then its fully acceptable for him to have an account... but may need help with managing.

The link above, Im sure will be far more useful, but I know from ward experience, that we have patients whose family/spouses have spoken to banks and been allowed certain access or leniencies to help overcome financial difficulties. From what I have gathered from families, most banks are happy to help you help them, rather than make it more difficult. I hope that turns out to be the case for you.

Anyway, off for a bath I think, then chase the little one off to bed and sort out another bag of clothes... :)
:)Sometimes lurking, sometimes posting, but always flying:)

I forgot that I had the dentist today, so have done no flying, but lots of sitting around feeling sorry for myself :o

I did manage to get two loads of washing out on the line though, so I'm keeping on top of things. I'm settling down to Grey's Anatomy now, so will do a couple of bits and pieces in the ad breaks.

On the plus side, I went to Fat Club and lost the 4lbs I put on the previous week :D:D Back on the wagon I go!

oh a day for returners, I love that, welcome back G&B, Jo and Pipersky.

Did my ironing and mending with the Apprentice. Just going to unload WM and then off to bed. It has been lovely and quiet without grotbags but I'm starting to miss him now.

    Morning All

Well yesterday didn't go to plan at all so the less said about that the better. Tonight I have Beavers then a planning meeting so won't get chance to get much done then either. I'm thinking that as soon as the kids are up I'll whizz round the downstairs with the hoover and I'm going to put the WM on in a min. I also need to do the dishes and move the ironed clothes upstairs.

    Hellooo G&B, Jo and pipersky!

    Have a good day all

    Hugs

Hugs for LameWolf and anyone else that needs them! Horrible rain again today although it's meant to improve later - we shall see!

Work wasn't too bad yesterday - they were pleased to have me back! found out about our re-organisation - our new manager has a reputation of a sefl preserving backstabber - and that's the nicest thing I've heard about her! I will reserve judgement and see what happens later in the year. On the plus side she will be taking over all the managerial stuff so mine and my colleague's workload should stay the same - but on the downside no more responsibility = no extra money! Again I will wait and see what happens - I still have a job at the moment!

List looks good and I should manage Level 1 at least - shower now! Have a good day everyone and hope this rain goes away - I've forgotten how to use my washing line! :D
    :j Almost 2 stones gone! :j
