Evening
DH decluttered to his lodge. DD still out with doogie, if she went when she came in from school she'd be done by the time I get home, so am still waiting for her to come back so we can eat (although not sure what yetas just the 2 of us)
Will then do HHI sorting uniforms for the rest of the week and then I can do the HHP (coursework while its still fresh in my mind from study day) while I watch BGT, although I may have to change the order.Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -
folded about a squillion loads of washing.. 20% was tiny fiddly faffy baby stuff!
Laundry off the line the beding can go straight on and the rest can go in the TD for 10 minutes airing.
Off to make the bed before Dot needs to go down. I didn't call about the window quote because I need to tidy my room before I wouldn't be too ashamed to let anyone in.. it is hideous in there at the moment... but I did gather a binbag of rubbish and throw that away, rescued a wash basket, filled a carrier with socks for Jacob.. they are just plain white ankle socks the girls outgrew.
Squeak has been a horror today.. she flung a huge pile of folded laundry all over the kitchen floor, sh has climbed on everything repeatedly.. tables, boxes, chairs, shelves.. she is going in the bin!... DD2 is in a sulk.. I said she was not going to her friends after school after she was very late for school this morning so she hasn't come down for her dinner.. now Squeak has just eaten it! LMAO.. that'll teach her!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
We have had our initial assessment for our cleaner and she should be starting a week tomorrow. My plan for this week is to try and declutter a bit and tidy some stuff away to make it easier. I will also clean the kitchen and bathroom but that will be about it
My house will soon be clean thanks to someone else and I can concentrate on the decluttering and enjoying my home :j

Bonnie that is so kind of you to help your neighbour, they may not be able to voice it but I'm sure it's very much appreciated x
Piggers I think your Squeak would get along nicely with my MooMoo. She is also a climber and into everything. I'm sure they would be great mischief allies! I think mine is a couple of months older, not sure who would lead who away??? She's just starting to have friends at nursery, which is lovely. They actually play together, rather than alongside each other, now. Another sign of our babies growing up :-(
Anyway, swept up downstairs, kitchen sorted before bed, smart clothes for nursery pics out, and I'm working from home tomorrow so might get the laundry done too...
Night all xBossymoo

Well I didn't do anything on today's list - but I did finish both guest rooms today for weekend visitors. And I vacuumed the stairs!?
Feel a bit of a failure - but then I go upstairs and it's lovely!! Will cover today tomorrow0 -
Our shredder used to live upstairs no where near where any of the paperwork/mail is kept. We have now moved it downstairs so we can use it as we sort the mail.michelle2008 wrote: »Thanks ajmoney! I really should have done that - and will now keep the shredder by the door!

Logged onto ebay at work to find loads of sales so dashed home to pack and post. Other than that I haven't flown much.
Well done Michelle - not least because your guest rooms should stay nioce until they are needed and now you know the benefit of it.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
