I keep getting turned down for mobile phone contracts!!!???

I really dont know why, I have never had any debt in my life - I have one credit card which I have never had a late payment on - I did a check on noddle.com and my rating is 4/5?! Its really annoying me, Ive been with t-mobile orange three before and never had any problems with payments! I rent property at the moment, hmmm.

When I first tried to get one from the o2 website it was saying I needed to pay a deposit which i was a bit confused by but tried to make the payment anyway and it wouldnt let me on the site, i tried a few more times and then it said I was rejected? Since then I have tried on mobiles.co.uk and carphone warehouse for o2 and t-mobile and both have been rejected!

Any ideas???

    New address?
Not registered on the electoral roll?
Many recent credit searches adversely affecting the credit score?

That said, it's a long time since all providers lost control over their crazy computers that do the scoring and pretty often reject applications without any reason.

    COMPUTER SAYS "NO"....

I agree with the poster above. These computer systems are crazy. EverythingEverywhere always declines me when I take out a new line. Credit referral always had to override it. At-least they put something on my T-Mobile account now, so I don't get declined. \

Have you tried contacting credit referrals for the networks?

I emailed the o2 credit place but didnt get any response!!! Mobiles.co.uk didnt give me anyone I could contact they just said it was rejected and I could try a different company. It is a newish rented house - and the third house within 5 years but I have always paid the rent on time? Would this matter?

It's not a matter of 'paying the rent on time', it''s about of a lot of changes of address in a short period. You were asked about the electoral roll but didn't respond?
Sometimes, no or limited credit records can be as bad as a poor credit record. What they are looking for is a history of credit being taken, and then repaid on schedule.

If you are on the electoral roll then get a sim only and then upgrade it to a real contract 3-6 months later (depending on the network you choose). You'd do well to get rejected for a simo

Actually, if you are sensible, and you get a sim-only contract, you should stick to sim-only and save money!

Try a sim only contract with 3 mobile. a few months in they will call you begging to give you a contract with a phone!
