It says that today's can be redeemed today and tomorrow. (I don't know whether they have an extra allocation or whether they have to keep a box sealed ready for Monday.)
It may be worth a phonecall to your chosen store to ask for more information? Store finder here.

Possibly for stores that are closed on Sunday? I am pretty sure oue local WH SMith is closed today.

i saw that 2 & wondered the same.
TRUS - tried the only one per customer but I must have had a nice face 'cause the SA said - "don't let anyone know I gave you 2"
    2 DS very happy:T
I say "THANKS" to posts that make me smile - Oh and really good glitches.:j

  • Went late to Smiths - v. kind SA explained they had lots of Lego left but no papers. She told me to go next door to Tesco for the paper & bring it back so she could take the voucher for the Lego!

She also said they'd had a few people buying 20 papers at a time - & looked quite horrified when I told her those people are selling the kits for around £5 each on e-bay.

I think Smiths should have a rule on this, covering all stores, not leave it up to the manager of each. Max 4 papers/gifts at a time would at least slow the e-bayers down. If too much re-selling on e-bay goes on, Lego might decide that offering these brilliant little sets as freebies isn't such a good idea.

well i got to whsmith at 10am and it was very busy, sa was letting people buy as many papers as wanted, she didn't mark the coupon either;) so i nipped to toysrus for another pack:o:o and at 1030am before the store even opened (at 11am) the queue of people clutching vouchers was almost 100yards long, it was unbelievable, reminded me of the next sale:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Stores that are not open on a Sunday will issue their Sunday toy on a Monday, sometimes they ask for a token or they will give it to you with the Monday paper (in my store anyway).

Not everyone buys multiple papers to list on ebay, some have more than one child so don't presume. Everyone i was queuing with yesterday had multiple tokens and they weren't ebayers they had children or grandchildren with them.

I was amazed at ours yesterday, normally only allow 1 per customer, they had run out of the paper so were offering the lego free with a purchase over 50p, bought £1 bag of sweets and they let me have 2 legos :)
This is first time they have been open on sunday for lego, used to be able to pick it up on Monday instead, now need to do an extra trip into town.

They do seem to have really taken on board the fact that so many were disappointed last time. In my store they have received alot more lego for this promotion than any other. This is great as no-one is diapppointed and it's one in the eye for the e-bayers as their market is considerably reduced. Well done Lego and the Sun (and I don't normally herald the Sun, believe me!). Keep it up.
  • There's exactly the same number of lego pieces as the last giveaway, perhaps they are just better distributed.
