Ordered Hershey's unsweetened natural cocoa on 3rd, arrived yesterday. With postage cost £11 for 8oz tin  Well packaged, they recycle packaging, delivery would have been faster but Bank Holidays got in the way. Need to find somewhere else that does this cocoa at a better price !

Ordered 7 x 500g tins of Khanum pure butter ghee without ethyl butyrate on Wednesday, arrived Thursday, As order over £35 only paid 95p for overnight delivery. Well packaged and this ghee is fantastic. Previous order got loads of spices, the prices are pretty good.0 -

We have been using Sainsburys for several years and found them to be excellent, however they changed us to another store and now we find we cannot get stuff, I am not talking about unusual items either, last week for example none of the items listed below was available, I don't mean they were not delivered they were listed on the website as no longer available!
Kellogs cornflakes, none at all available not in any size
Weetabix, none at all in any size pack
Muller vitality strawberry or raspberry yogurts.
I phoned up the helpline and they confirmed that none of these were available which I said was quite ridiculous.
I then emailed support and they confirmed that all the above were in the store and they would make sure they were added so that I can order. That was almost 2 weeks ago and when I checked they were still not available.
I sent a reply to their email about this and it was returned saying that they could not accept replies! :mad:0 -
Had a look at the Ocado website and it does not advise what the delivery charges are, it states that some slots to some areas are free and that you are advised according to your order value.
So I have to register and build up an order before knowing how much they might charge for delivery?
With Sainsburys any order over £100 on Tues, Wed or Thursday is free.
Anyone who has used Ocado would they be kind enough to say what delivery charges are like?0 -

I paid £6.99 delivery on a £90+ (o2 £30 voucher offer) order because it was £69 cash. YET
I paid £1.49 delivery on a £56 cash order (Confused!)
The value of the trolley needs to be over £40.00 to be able to checkout your order.
The (my) prices above (£0 to 3.99) are based on a standard order size of £75.00 or more.
For orders below £75.00, there is a minimum charge of £3.00 and a maximum of £6.99.
Early / late or midweek are likely the cheaper slots for me.0 -
Waitrose.. no delivery charge at any time on orders over £500
-
Ocado - £6.99 a month for unlimited deliveries (£40 min spend)
Great quality produce and according to mysupermarket, is normally on average around £2 more expensive than Asda for my basket, but a whopping £10-15 cheaper than Waitrose/Sainsburys!!!!0 -

Ocado give 100% to online groceries and I imagine can manage their goods in/out more easily.
With the supermarkets I guess the personal shoppers have to quickly grab whatever is left on the shelves. (incoming deliveries/shelf stacking permitting)0 -
Got 99% of my order and product dates either exceeded or met their freshness guarantee.
ButFor some reason I received some FREE extra groceries in error. (not huge value for Sainsburys to want to collect)
(1) Ocado still top of my list for their website, 100% order rec'd, freshness, quality and value where careful in choice.
(2) Tesco next for 100% orders, value, freshness but not website experience.
(3) Sainsburys website excellent but freshness and % order rec'd hit n miss.
(4) Waitrose Freshness the best but website and % order rec'd not so good.0 -
Addicted to Ocado!
Love the website, easy to use and lots of specialist produxts and Natoora tomatoes are to die for.
We dont buy processed food so freshness is paramount. Organic Veg boxes are excellent and much better quality/condition than Able and Cole.
Loads of gluten free good WITH offers on them.
My OH loves that beer and wine comes ready chilledfrom the van.
Delivery is my fav though. At home the bags are brought into my house and put on my kitchen surfaces as standard- important difference as i'm disabled and cant lift them.
Best of all, when Im in hospital Ocado deliver to my bedside!!!0
