I've always bought petrol from tesco for my ford galaxy when i heard about this i decided to give our local shell a try it's a few miles out of the way but always a couple of pence cheaper my car has felt like it's had a boot up the !!!! and is performing a lot better.

Dont think i'll be going back to Tesco. i know of a few problems with cars in Dundee but noticed there's nothing on there list :S

I'm fed up with tesco trying to control the petrol in Dundee, They cut there prices a lot and at least 3 local petrol stations which were private run and employed about 25 people have now all shut down all of these were 24/7 petrol stations which provided electric and gas.

They all could'nt afford to run anymore and had to shut down all the people worked there have lost there jobs and all the site's are now lying empty one of which tesco are building into one of there mini tesco expresses.

Now there putting there prices up a lot and i noticed the last time i was there that there stopping selling petrol at night.

    Bad stuff tesco :(

It's not just the poor 25 people in the 24/7 petrol stations in Dundee that have lost their jobs because of Tesco...........

All in the last year ! The side of Tesco that most customers don't see (or don't want to see). Give a thought to these 1000's of workers, their families and the knock on effects to the local communities.

If they can't deal with one case then perhaps the money spent on 4-page adverts and money off petrol would be better spent putting in some decent administration, as I suspect there will be quite a few cases for them to deal with.

    One case????

This was caused by contaminated fuel .... years ago ..... do you honestly believe only one customer was affected by this.
What do you think happened to all the others who filled up at the same time?

    Fobbed off?

Strung along until they gave up?

Put in a position where legal action was the only option?

Even with a court order Tescos didn't pay up, presumably hoping the customer wouldn't know/ couldn't afford to put in the baliffs.

This time round they've said they'll consider claims, it'll be interesting to see how many actually get any money.

Yep Dundee is about to lose 600 jobs because they've decided to move there warehouse to Livingston. They've told people they can keep there jobs but they'd have to move to livingston and wont get a pay increase.

    Terrible.

Tesco disgust me i'd rather shop in asda. They once made a promise to the people of Dundee when they bought over william lows that they would provide good jobs to the city now there too big too care.

We are flabbergasted that this hasnt been all over the news. It was obviously on bbc website as your links but we new nothing about this. That seems a lot of people to get rid of I thought tesco were doing well.

We now wot its redundancy is like as my partner got made redundant and it isnt nice. We shall shop at the local Asda now instead (only across the road from Tesco but probably just as bad).

Companys often relocate warehouses and review staff its nothing new at all, yes its bad news for the familys but Tesco isnt a charity, we often have reviews every couple of years where i work its just a fact of live nowadays that big companys try to save where they can :(

By all means go to Asda but they are even worse http://walmartwatch.com/ it seems none of these big corporations give a dam :(

I got the 3p off voucher and gave it my wife. I checked her receipt and they only deducted 13p for 45 litres instead of £1.35. Have just spoken to cs and will be going back on Tue for double the difference.....

I think we're getting off-topic here. The A-Team are innocent and the sooner they are cleared the better!
