You will have to contact your service provider if it is the sim card that is locked (If it is asking for a puk code then its your sim that is locked) or if it is the phone security code that you have got wrong then you will have to take it to a service centre for them to unlock. Take some proof that it is your phone with you.0

If your phone was lost or stolen then you would get your service provider to block the phone from the uk networks using the IMEI number from the phone this is a lot more difficult to remove than the PUK lock that you had on your phone0 -

How would you know it without looking under the battery? If the phone is stolen how would you get it?:beer:0 -
You can get it barred usually by your phone number, when you register a sim card they ask for the imei number for the phone, if you are silly (like I have been in the past) and put an unregistered sim in it and some little **** nicks it then you are sulking !!0

Register your number on the Virgin website and if ever lost/stolen they will block the phone and sim very quickly and issue you with a new sim with any credit left on it.0
