    "Paid to term" means that you paid PPI on the loan until you completed paying that loan.
    The Bank will want proof that you continued to pay because they no longer have records and you could have cancelled the policy early for all they know. Proof would be bank statements showing these payments.
    Also, to be frank, your complaint reason is very weak.
    It's your call as to whether you continue...
