Typhoid vaccination

Any side-effects with the above? Son is travelling on sunday and has not had it done. It's the one vacc. free. He had hepatitis A done in 2000 and they are asking for £35 to have first dose and then a booster, is this the normal charge? Thanks

He is going to Cancun & Playa de Carmen, two weeks with a friend and then he plans to stay another 6 weeks on his own. That's when the problem might start when you are on your own. He likes travelling on his own as he says you can do what you want. I am just hoping he does not fall out with his friend, they are different travellers. Thanks for your help.
