I am just over a year into a 18 month Iphone contract with 3, however i am also moving to university in september and will no longer be able to afford to pay the contract. I have been told that there is a clause where you can get out of a contract after the first year, has anyone else heard of this? if so how do i go about doing it? if not does anyone have an idea of how i can cancel my contract??
Thank You

No. You can try asking them to downgrade your contract a little.Carly300493 wrote: »... I have been told that there is a clause where you can get out of a contract after the first year, has anyone else heard of this?if not does anyone have an idea of how i can cancel my contract??- Die;
- Go bankrupt;
- Pay for all remaining months.

It's a contract. You signed up for 18 months. Unless you plan on dyeing or going bankrupt your going to have to pay it.0

Where did you here that?
We are in May, September is 5 months away, so there will only be one more month in any case.
After that choose a flexible contract that will suit your circumstance changes better, eg a 30 day sim only.0
