Samsung Galaxy S2 sync with Google Calendar
My new S2 packed in after a month and I've just got it back from Samsung who had to replace the main board. I turned it off Last Friday night and it wouldn't turn back on again on Saturday morning.
I've just restored everything from the backup I took last Friday via Kies and everything was there except my calendar appointments.
A quick look on my iMac and they aren't there either.
My iMac is set to sync iCal with Google Calendar and my phone also syncs with Google Calendar.
I've discovered that appointments entered in Google Calendar appear on the phone and in iCal as expected but appointments made on the phone don't appear on Google Calendar!
I don't know about the rest of you but 90% of my appointments are made on the phone while I'm out and about and I was expecting that syncing would be exactly that not a one one street.
Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong and how to get my phone to upload appointments to Google Calendar?

One by one the penguins are slowly stealing my sanity.

OK - I've made some progress.
It seems there are two calendars on the phone, My Calender where I've been making all my appointments, and Google Calendar which I've not been using.
Is the only answer to stop using My Calender or can I get My Calender to update Google Calender, if that makes sense. One by one the penguins are slowly stealing my sanity.0 -

G for google
Sync Calendar
or you can activate auto sync which naturally will use more data.0
