Hi everyone I am a newby here and i want to know what sim card to have in my phone while performing unlocking witha software i purchased on the internet. just to be sure. thanks

Iphones are unlocked by changing a flag in Apples database, If you use any other way it may be re-locked by a upgrade in itunes later.
That said you usually need to put a SIM card in from a diffferent network to what yours is locked to then use the itunes to do the unlock.0
