I went to a Tesco today and spent just over £50 after vouchers and didn't get one. It was a Tesco that had been affected but lots of signs up saying that the petrol is OK now.

I got three more today ... 2 for a grand spend of 91p on two shops .... plus a kind person left theirs on the end of the checkout ...

    MBN I have PM'd you ....

PS ... do give the flowers one to your OH .... with a very big nudge about hard work and post holiday laundry .... :rotfl: .... he may just get it!

    A good strategy indeed. ;)

Next week Morrisons are giving triple points on petrol when you fill up using your little black card

Is there a mathematical genius out there who can work out which is the better offer.

I can either fill up 41 lites at Morrisons at 86 a litre with triple points or
41 litres at Tesco at 87 a litre minus the coupon = 84 a litre plus a tesco point per pound..

Perhaps someone can do me an excel chart with the formulas on so all I have to do is put the petrol price in! :rotfl:

(Rounding up to the nearest penny and assuming that petrol will cost the same next week but it might not and assuming that I get a 3p fuel till spit but I havent dare go into the dragons den yet this week and assuming that my car will need filling up by Friday next week and that the full 41 litres will go in because sometimes the pumps wont let you!)

    :rotfl:

I asked about the reason why the Super Unleaded was 'locked down' - It appears to be that they hadnt tested it prior to now!!!

Yep. Got one for £2.42 spend, one for £3.xx and one for £4.xx

It just offsets the rise of 3p since the weekend.

I ALWAYS use Tesco for petrol, where possible, to get the points and pay with my GE card to get 3% back (2.51p / litre).
