3p off a litre of petrol when you buy instore and use a clubcard?

We got one of these today and had only spent £1.80

Got the till spit having spent about £3 after vouchers,then filled up & saved £1.38 with the 3p off a litre,every little helps as they say ;-)

There was a banner up by my local saying "This store was not affected by the recent petrol problems"

Im afraid its just one of those things - look at the food scares we have every now and again. No matter how careful you are things get through.

At least the supermarkets have admitted the fault (very publicly) and prepared to pay for damages. I heard on radio they will also consider hire charges and any taxi costs. Tesco also say they will accept clubcard details to sort out any problems if you have not got the petrol receipt. or your visa/credit card statement showing the transaction

I know this doesnt help those affected, but I wouldnt boycott them if they are putting it right.

Can you split your shopping into more than one lot and get more than one till spit? I drive for a living, so I fill up about twice a week, so this could save me alot

How long do the till spits last for?

Could you buy a 20p pack of chewing gum and still get one?

I bought some shopping today and spent £4.xx got 3p till spit. Noticed one thing i bought scanned a penny and went back and bought the last one on the shelf.
Got another 3p till spit for a penny spend. Valid till 18/03

I spilt my shopping in two and got two of these spits they last till 18/3/07

I have got 2 of these vouchers every day this week (visited Tesco twice per day so far this week ). I have been giving them to friends and family. They are all over the car park floor too!

I got three more today ... 2 for a grand spend of 91p on two shops .... plus a kind person left theirs on the end of the checkout ...

Tried 2 different Tescos, using 2 different clubcards, today, neither gave till spits, one I spent £30ish, the other £5ish. Both were in the area affected acording to the news) and had BIG signs up saying the petrol is now OK. Don't get huge amounts of spits on these clubcards, but get some....
Wonder why no till spits?
