3p off a litre of petrol when you buy instore and use a clubcard?

Latest news, some till spits are definitely giving 3p off every litre off of petrol or deseil, see above link, post 30.
It seems to be confined to those stores with petrol stations.
Everytime you buy something from Tesco, starting today and swipe your Clubcard,(must have plastic Card) then you'll recieve a coupon to have 3p off a litre of petrol or diesal.

Once I get my car back from the garage I'm never using tesco petrol again!I like cooking with wine......sometimes I even put it in the food!0

I was at the pumps this morning, filling up at 7 am and the staff got a call from 'upon high' to 'lock down the super unleaded' - now they didnt know what 'lock down' meant, but they told them that they had already stopped selling it and covered the pump handles as not in use.....
could this be related to giving the discount on fuel?Praying at the church of MSE should be compulsory!

I did a Tesco shop today (mid afternoon) and spent around £35, but no money off petrol till spit for me. I wonder if this is targetted like a lot of the other till spits are
