I've tried everything to fix it but every web page that needs flash is crashing chrome. I've now changed back to IE9. Which seems to have improved since I last used it months ago.
Anyone else having this trouble.

Yes, me too. I think Chrome did an update yesterday, as I noticed PC hanging and when I checked task manager I found setup.exe (from google) was hogging cpu.swvillafan wrote: »any particular website or just in general?

I dont seem to have a problem with the latest update. just been on the digital spy website, theres a flash animation for a jason statham film on there and it played fine.
perhaps uninstall/re-install chrome?Useful is beautiful0 -
do any error message come up or does chrome just close with no warning?Useful is beautiful0

A yellow bar on the top of the page says Flash has stopped working and on the picture its just black with a funny white skull thingy on it.0

hmm, not too sure then. perhaps try disabling/re-enabling flash typing 'about:plugins' (without the apostrophes) into the address bar, then click the disable link next to flash. close chrome, then reopen and follow the same procedure above to reactivate it.
Am stumped after that, try a google/bing search for the exact error message and see if anyone else has the same problem.Useful is beautiful0 -
on my last post substitute the smiley face with a colon :Useful is beautiful0
