  • Hi dogshuman,
I was just wondering how you got on with this as a few months have passed? There does not seem to be a lot of info on this specific company that has targeted us so I'm very interested to know how you faired! I can read and read till I'm blue in the face but until I can confirm from someone who is in exactly the same boat as me I will worry!
    Thanks in advance!

Well if you look at when this post was in May, then look at when they were last online which was August, you can safely assume that events have happened exactly the way predicted by Stephen in post #6 . And as advised by others in the thread.

Just follow what Stephen posted and they will go away without your money, no worrying involved, if you read the many thousands of threads in the section you will discovers similar theme - IGNORE
Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?
  • I have been reading and reading from post to post as well as google, I just felt that my letter from Rox. was slightly different as it didn't meant the guff about the Internet etc! Of course they probably realised that everyone was catching on to it. Anyway I will IGNORE!!

    @possumrunner

Courtesy of the Freedom of Information Act we know exactly which companies have issued proceedings during the last year. Car Parking Management aka PCN Parking Services are not amongst them and the vast majority of companies never do issue proceedings because it isn't in their business model.

The fact that your letter differs somewhat from the average means nothing in the overall scheme of things. Roxburghe like all debt collectors have all of the accrued rights to pursue debts... that you and I have. They have no special powers. None whatsoever and the only thing they can do is to ask you to pay. Of course they don't want anyone to realise that and design letters that bluster and are full of legalese in an effort to scare. They are no more than the Wizard of Oz sitting behind his curtain.

You have it right. Stay strong. At least you have people to support you. When I started down this road there was no board dedicated to the subject on any advice forum and there were no example letters to check off. I still didn't pay, though, because I recognised the demand for what it was.
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com

I'll miss their phrase, "We are aware of anecdotal information being presented via the internet and on various websites and ... this guidance is worth following". It was the only thing they got right. :)
The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life. :)
  • Hi again everyone, so I hadn't received anything more from Graham White etc since my last post however I have today received the Final Warning. I am trying hard to ignore it BUT I have looked on all the posts and can't find any example letters that mention "we have already fulfilled all legal requirements in relation to commencing litigation"..... Then goes on about consequences of litigation eg seizure of assets, denying credit etc.... "We will refer the matter in seven days. Please be aware that this matter will go away without solution or resolution." I know a lot of you are bored of us worriers still posting about this kind of thing, but I'm just concerned incase I am one of the unlucky few who would get taken to court, in which case I would rather pay (£100). In my one and only letter to 'car parking management' I did stupidly admit to being the driver because I didn't hear about this forum till after that, so I think this will have put me in a bad position!

Please can you advise if this is just another stupid letter as they have given me 7 days!!

Just another letter in the chain designed to scare you, and it seems to be working!
All it is is ink on paper, nothing more, bedding for your hampster or to line your cat litter tray.
Laugh at it then ignore it.
I would even put money on the fact that NOTHING will happen to you in 7 days.

Yes it's another stupid templated letter to ignore, they have never done court ever, they don't have the intelligence to know what's small claim is, or how to issue one. So ignore them

The next step is a 100% discount if you continue to ignore them.
