On a point of law, watching TV live on a PC is not LIVE ! there is a delay, LIVE would be via broadcasting transmitters at the exact same millisecond of time over both formats....law is not foolproof & can ALWAYS be challenged if you bother to educate yourself in something that effects our every second.
Watching TV via sat, freeview, cable TV, phone, PC all have delay inherent in the infrastructure, you are wrong to single out the internet as being being the slowest or indeed being separate in law, unless of cause you have indeed challenged this law in some way, but I'm guessing you have not.
Dishing out inaccurate information does not help your cause and looks amateurish.0 -
OP, have you ever bought a TV in the name of the business? (Maybe to claim the vat or use it to reduce income tax?)0

Cancel the coffee, I am going to need something stronger in a minute. Maybe the Greeks have got the right ideas after all. LOL
Not sure what you mean. In Greece the TV licence is paid by every home owner, regardless of whether they watch TV. It's included in the electricity bill. There is no opt-out. The "council tax" is also included in the electricity bill. (The pressure is on for everyone to "go green" and get their own photovoltaic system so that they don't get an electricity bill! However, most people are too poor to do this.)0 -
There have been cases of people getting hounded after buying a TV because the license is in the name of their spouse.
They're paper tigers, ignore them.0
