Orange Broadband - Moving home 15 days???

I'm moving home in a couple of days, and I have been told by Orange that I need to wait until my BT line has been active for 48 hours, then once I apply to move my account I'll have to wait up to 15 days. I find this quite unacceptable but can I do anything about it?
The main problem will be the 2 weeks without internet access. As far as I can see I have three options:
Any guidance on this would be most welcome.
The main problem will be the 2 weeks without internet access. As far as I can see I have three options:
- Live without internet access for that time.
- Use some sort of dial-up service until I get broadband (are there any decent, cheap dial up options which do not tie you into a contract and that could be casually used for 2-3 weeks? Also connection speed may be an issue.
- There's a wireless access point in a pub a few doors down from my new address, although I'm not sure I'd be in range. It's on The Cloud network, which I fear could be costly anyway.
Any guidance on this would be most welcome.

Do not depsair too much.
I moved house recently with Orange and contacted them after 48 hrs of the new BT line being connected.
I plugged my livebox in when we moved in and the lights were flashing for a couple of days and low and behold we were reconnected on the 3rd day:j
My speeds seem to be faster when we moved too,
and i hope u are not paying more than £12.99 for the capped 2gig package with livebox and up to 8meg with free eve and w/e calls...
So fingers crossed your reconnection should be quick as well :beer:0 -
Thanks. From what I've seen it's a bit of a lottery how long it takes, so I'll keep my fingers crossed.
My broadband is free as I'm on a fairly high-end mobile tariff.0
